Ben Mitchell
Ben Mitchell established Gardens of Bath in 1999 to serve the local area with professional landscaping services. Word of mouth spread about his attention to detail and friendly manner and his business has flourished.
Gardens of Bath is now a small team of people, able to design, construction and maintain gardens. Ben’s business benefits from the skills individuals bring, and the way they work together.
Working together ensures that from drawing to digging, your project runs smoothly and efficiently.
Jodi Peacham
Having worked for Gardens of Bath since 2011, Jodi divides her time between designing gardens, organising the maintenance team and project managing builds. But she still finds plenty of time to be on site getting her hands dirty. Jodi finds it gratifying to see her garden designs become places that people can enjoy and plants can establish themselves.
Jon Gulson
Making a career change from an office job in the Environment Agency, Jon has turned a hobby into a vocation. Jon’s enthusiasm for gardening can be seen in the wide range of edible and ornamental plants on his allotment, and his voluntary renovation and replanting in his local park. His RHS qualification has given him a deeper understanding of how gardens work.
Heather Newson
With a life-long interest in plants, Heather caught the gardening bug while working for the Sheffield University landscaping team. Since then she has been involved in a variety of community gardening and allotment projects. This has taught her a great deal about fruit tree management, food cultivation and planning and planting flower beds. She is hard working and well informed of plant names and needs.
Nick Williams
Nick has had an interesting career including working in furniture restoration as a French polisher before following in this father’s footstep and taking up gardening. Nick pays great attention to detail and always does a neat and tidy job. Nick mainly runs the lawn mowing service in the summer and the hedge cutting in the autumn.
Andy Ottaway
Andy Ottaway’s first venture into construction was creating highly specialised ponds for Koi carp fish.
He has since expanded his skill set to include all types of garden construction with the same meticulous attention to detail.
If you have an idea of what you want in your garden Andy can talk you though different options and come up with solutions to tricky sites.
