FOUNDER AND MANAGING DIRECTOR
Ben Mitchell established Gardens of Bath in 1999 to provide professional landscaping services. His attention to detail and friendly manner have fostered a flourishing business. Leading a skilled team, Ben ensures seamless project exectuion from design to completion.
Jodi Peacham
GARDEN DESIGNER & PROJECT MANAGER
Since joining in 2011, Jodi has balanced garden design, maintenance team coordination, and project management. She remains hands-on, finding gratification in transforming her designs into enjoyable spaces where plants thrive.
Jon Gulson
HORTICULTURAL EXPERT
Transitioning from the Environment Agency, Jon turned his passion for gardening into a vocation. His enthusiasm is evident in his diverse allotment and voluntary park projects. An RHS qulification deepens his understanding of garden dynamics.
Heather Newson
PLANT SPECIALIST
With a lifelong interest in plants, Heather’s journey began with the Sheffield University landscaping team. Her involvement in community gardening and allotments has honed her expertise in fruit tree management, food cultivation, and flower bed planting.
Nick Williams
GARDEN MAINTENANCE EXPERT
Formerly a furniture restorer, Nick followed in his father’s footsteps to pursue gardening. His attention to detail ensures neat and tidy work.
Nick primarily manages lawn mowing in summer, and hedge cutting in the autumn.
Andy Ottaway
GARDEN CONSTRUCTION SPECIALIST
Beginning with specialised Koi carp ponds, Andy expanded his skills to encompass all garden construction. His meticulous attention to detail aids in devising solutions for challenging sites, turning ideas into reality.

OFFICE MANAGER
As the friendly voice of Gardens of Bath, Helen is essential to the team. She manages the office, coordinates site work, and oversees finances. Her organisational skills and multitasking ensure smooth operations.

SKILLED LANDSCAPERS & GARDENERS WANTED!
We’re always keen to hear from experienced landscapers and gardeners looking to join our Bath-based team. With flexible full or part-time work to fir around your commitments, we offer competitive pay based on experience. Our team works on a self-employed/sub-contracted basis, and whilst having your own van is a plus, it’s not essential.
